Oliver is an entrepreneurial minded marketing and business development professional with extensive experience in international and intercultural environments. Oliver was born and raised in Germany, and lived and worked in Sweden, Bangkok, and Silicon Valley.

Mr. Hanisch founded his first company in the age of twenty, providing engineering services for Siemens and Merck.

Prior to joining Apaxys Oliver has spent more than 2 years as a Business Development Director at Red Herring, the world's leading technology media. Mr. Hanisch is currently advising numerous of startups in Germany and the US.

Mr. Hanisch graduated from Pforzheim University of Applied Science in Germany, and received his Master's Degree with Distinction from CTF Research Center at Karlstad Universitet in Sweden.
